This year I was honored to become a juried member of the Arizona Art Alliance. The Alliance is composed of approximately 40 Arizona Art Leagues and 4,000 artists. About 20% are juried members. We have a gallery in Scottsdale (on Indian Bend Road just west of Route 101). My paintings are quite varied by subject matter and the medium with which the art piece is created. My works are created in oil, acrylic, pastel, charcoal and water color pencil. The choice depends on the subject matter and/or the preference of the commissioning customer. My work can be viewed in  private homes from coast to coast. More readily, you can view many examples in this web site which is broken down into four different galleries. Recent awards have been won for my pastel "Reflection" and my oil titled "Argentinia Giant Cactus".  "Arizona Springtime" was the cover art of the 2008 Yuma phone directory.  "Pestemon Perfection" won the Phone Company's subsequent contest. Juried panels have selected my art pieces to hang in exhibits at Arizona's Gammage Center, the BRIO Art Center in Scottsdale, the Fountain Hills Town Hall and the Fountain Hills Community Center. Blue ribbons have been won for both pastel and oil entries at the Illinois Lake County Fair.
